ContentmentAll praise is for Allaah the Exalted Who is pleased with Islaam as a religion for us, Who has raised evidence that shows its correctness with clear proof, has made the path to knowing and believing it clear, out of truth and certainty, and has promised those who act according to His rulings and safeguard His limits a great reward. He has kept for those who come to Him with Islaam a momentous reward and a great victory, and has made submitting to His rulings obligatory on us, holding fast to its pillars and braces, bonds, and means. It is His religion that He has been pleased with for Himself, His prophets and the angels of His Sanctuary. Through Islaam, the guided became guided, and the call of the prophets and Messengers was towards Islaam. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship besides Allaah the Exalted. He has no counterpart, partner, wife, son, or equal. He is far glorified above the lies of the promoters of falsehood and the liars, and He is exalted above the polytheism of the polytheists and the falsehoods of the atheists. I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, His chosen one from His creation, the best of His creation, His trusted one over His revelation, and His ambassador between Him and His creation. PietyAll praise is due to Allaah, the Lord of all that exists, and the good end belongs to those who have piety. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allaah the Exalted, the Evident Truth. Allaah the Exalted is the One Who made piety the root of the religion, as well as its clear basis. ContemplationAll perfect praise is due to Allaah Who rose above the worlds in rank and essence; He overwhelmed His creation with His glory, might and power and commanded us to contemplate His verses and creation with our hearts and minds. His might and exaltedness confounds the hearts of those seeking His pleasure. Whenever they think they have reached the answer in their quest to know about Him, His endless astonishing might makes them give up and stop attempting to find the limit and boundaries of His might and glory. And when they attempt to give up, they are called to persevere in their search and ponder upon His attributes through the eye of servitude; they are called to contemplate upon their own creation to realize the extent and magnitude of His bounties, and to express gratitude for every bounty and glorify Him for every one and for the number of times these bounties are renewed. They are called to reflect on His Decrees and how they result in distinguishing people between believers and disbelievers, losers and winners, good people and evil people, and the appreciative and ungrateful. May Allaah exalt the mention of Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, the master of the children of Aadam, who did not consider his lofty status something to brag or boast about, and may Allaah exalt the mention of his household and his Companions who became shining stars. .... المزيد |
HopeAll perfect praise is due to Allaah, Who gives hope to the hopeful, The One Whose pleasure is sought by the devoted, ascetic worshippers. May Allaah exalt the mention of the noblest of all Prophets and Messengers, Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, his Companions and all those who follow their footsteps, until the Day of Resurrection.
